# BitOr

Calculates the bitwise OR of two numbers

**Category:** `math`

**Syntax:**

```
BitOr([number1], [number2])
```

**Returns:** `Integer`

## Parameters

| `number1` | `integer or column` | ✓ Yes    | The first number for the bitwise OR operation  |

**Allowed Column Types for `number1`:** INT

**Allowed Column Types for `number2`:** INT

```

Returns the bitwise OR of 5 and 3
