# Month

Returns an integer representing the month component in a specified datetime value.

**Category:** `date`

**Syntax:**

```
Month([date_column])
```

**Returns:** `IntColumn`

**Context Filtering:** ✓ Yes

## Parameters

**Allowed Column Types:** DATETIME, DATE
